    hello, I'm new

I recently pulled a 302 out of my 74 Bronco. I will be installing a fresh 351w this week. If I run into problems, where is the best place on the site for tech help?

    302 or 351 Oil pan?

You are correct. The main bearings are larger on the 351. I dont think the 302 pan will fit.

My plan is to use the long tube headers from the old 302. Thats my hope anyway. If I sent you a pic, could you tell me if they will fit?

My dad had my 1974 Bronco in Alaska for years. He pushed snow with it. The rust real Bad! I'm working on replacing the floor pans now.

Hello everyone, I recently acquired my dads 1974 Bronco. It's a real piece of work to say the least; nonetheless, I am currently pulling out this old 302 and replacing it with a freshly rebuilt 351w. I have lots of question and am hoping to learn all I can about the subject. Glad to be here.
