So I found what I was looking for. I bought these off eBay. Everything I look up lines up with these. So the next things to track down are the stock column C6 shift linkage that goes from the column to frame to the trans.
Yeah man. I found the set on eBay and the guy happened to have the pump which I really don't care about. But he wants 400 something dollars. He's smoking crack. So if I can find an 80 to 87 E series van in the junk yards around here which is slim I'll get one or come across it online for a...
Hey everyone. Trying to get some help here. I'm gearing up finally to start building my 78 460 my 78 bronco. So I'm collecting parts before the block work. Here's my dilemma. I keep looking around online and can't get a concrete answer. I'm gonna be running my square York ac compressor. No...
No problem. It's just anymore it's people asking the same questions over and over again, instead of looking through the threads on their own. I only post if I can't find the question on my own. So it kinda surprises me that NOBODY has anything to say on certain topics. But anyway, thanks for...
I'm planning to build a 460 for the bronco. Does anyone have a part number or casting numbers or a lead on the compressor mount that is for the YORK compressor. I don't want that round compressor. I want to mount my factory York compressor that was on my original 351m. The 351 mounting holes...
Thanks. When I get a chance I'll call em. I gotta find out why I'm not getting notifications from here. There must be something in my settings I'm unaware of. That's why I've been delayed in responding. Didn't know y'all replied.
So after coming across an F series forum. It had someone looking for the same yoke as I am. So far I have a spicer number which might be it. The company we have make driveshafts for us is a spicer dealer. So next time I go there I'm gonna have them check that number. I'll let y'all know
OK. Maybe someone here has one or can point me in a direction. Im gonna be building a 460 with a C6. Im gonna run a divorced case. SO the C6 needs the fixed yoke setup like the highboys and early 60s? C6s. So I bought the fixed yoke tail housing and shaft. So far I can NOT find the 10 spline...
I have a high liner in mine. Unless it changed, they only listed them for a 73-79 F series, I did get it to fit . The metal trim that goes around the original liner, I had to modify. The sides on each side have to be extended a few inches. I took some out of the center above the windshield and...
My axle already has been reclocked, I repositioned the spring perches. Anymore and the pinion will be wayyyy to high. The driveshaft is well with in its degrees with the 9 inch lift. But will be out with the additional 4 inches. From research online, this should work great for me. Im just gonna...
Ok gang got an idea. I have 9 inch suspension lift on the bronco. Years ago I made modified spring buckets that give me and additional 4 inches with 4 inch blocks in the rear. Worked great, EXCEPT for my rear driveshaft angle. So I took it off after killing the H yoke. So my new idea. Run a...
