Hi guys.....I’m looking for the part number of the connector that plugs into the under hood light fixture....I have found WPT-999 looks the same but says it only fits a 96 .,...I had a wire pull out of mine ..... I also found another WPT-4951 for 95 mustang that looks very similar but will not cross reference to my 93 ....I’m pretty certain the WPT-999 will work but thought I would ask first

thanks in advance

Yes it does....instead of trying to find and splice on a new connector I found a complete harness with light fixture for 40 bucks...thanks much for your reply....you have helped me many times in the past and I appreciate it

I've gotta ask this question. When I had my '83 XLT it had a retractable under hood light fixture. You could pull out the light fixture and it would allow you to reel out enough line to reach the back of the truck. Great idea for those lonely tire changes or checking something making noise at night. Are these fixtures still available? My '95 XLT has a fixed light under the hood, but I wouldn't mind replacing it with one of the retractable units.

I bought the '83 out of dealer's stock, so it had some strange options like those monster tripod trailer towing mirrors but no trailer hitch. It did have that retractable under hood trouble light though. Must have come from Ford.
