I am looking for someone in Auburn WA area who would be willing to rewire my 1979 Bronco, I am willing to offer pay for it. I need a whole wiring job done, but, I'd also like to be there so I can learn in the process. I have already gotten (or, should say would be soon) the new wiring for her, I just have never done it before. leave a message here with an email address or contact me at hershey_jsh@yahoo.com. Please let me know how much your willing to charge. I have ALL the tools for the job, I just am afraid to do it myself...

Thank you

John

If you got one of the wiring kits from a place like Ron Francis or Painless, I'd like to encourage you that you can do it. Just follow the instructions and only do one function at a time. First get the ignition and charging system in and test it to make sure it works. Don't move on until it is working properly, then move on to the instruments followed by necessary lights, the last thing I would do is interior, dash, courtesy lights (I would only do these if they currently have a problem).

If you wait till the end to try it out, then is when it could be a "night mare".

If I were in the area I'd be glad to come over and help, but you chances are only slim that anyone on this forum lives close enough and feels that he/she can help. You will learn a lot as long as you follow the instructions. Most places that sell that kind of kit also offer phone support. We can help you as you go as long as you can supply us with the information we request.

Your next option is to take it to a auto electric shop.

You can do it

Good luck,
