Ok, well I think broncozone is becoming my home, because I am sure asking a lot of questions, and every question I have its answered. So I was to thank everyone that has helped in the past and the future. So here we go again. I have an msd ignition 6A ignition box, mallery unilite distributor, and a mallory coil. I have/had taylor wires on it. When I was changing the intake I notice that the distributor cap is melted where the rotor touches, and also the coil wire is melted a little that connects to the coil side of the wire. I installed it as per the msd installation guide. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm wondering if I was just using the wrong wires. The taylor wires or a little thicker than oem put not by much. any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

If your style dis. cap has the spring in the middle to help mantain contact to the middle of the rotor somtimes that goes bad and there for you end up with hight restance witch builds heat.
